The innovative Syn3rgy Performance Treatment program is a total
control solution for self-scaling water systems. Comprised of the patent
pending P-U-L-S-E TM 3S fouling analyzer and the Performax® antiscalant
chemistries, the Syn3rgy Performance Treatment program delivers better
dispersing capabilities and direct monitoring of scale build-up providing
improved system performance and lower overall operating costs.

P-U-L-S-E 3S Ultrasonic Fouling Analyzer
Using proprietary ultrasonic technology, the innovative P-U-L-S-E 3S fouling
analyzer directly measures very low levels of scale/fouling build-up in
systems. With real-time system performance data, customers can quickly
react to even the most minor system imbalances to ensure optimum system
operating performance. The P-U-L-S-E 3S fouling analyzer is a plug-and-
play technology that is installed in-line with low investment required by the
customer.
Performax 3 Antiscalant Chemistries
Ashlands high-performance range of Performax 3 antiscalants were
specifically developed for use in self-scaling systems and formulated using
patented, next generation polymers. The Performax 3 product range
includes phosphate- and nitrogen-free chemistries, and is available in higher
concentrations reducing handling requirements during application. Used in
conjunction with the P-U-L-S-E 3S fouling analyzer, Performax 3
antiscalants provide optimal system protection.
Key Benefits
Commercial applications of the Syn3rgy Performance Treatment program
provide key benefits to a variety of applications including:
Improved total system performance
Higher system reliability
Optimised system productivity
Reduced total cost of operations (TCO)
24/7 direct monitoring and measurement of build-up in self scaling
systems
Faster response to system imbalances
Low investment plug-and-play in-line system
Syn3rgy Performance Treatment program is currently only available in
EMEA.

Maloney Steps Down From Post With Cubs Go to Complete List »
Frank Maloney is stepping down in December as senior director of ticket operations after
29 years with the Cubs. With his retirement, the Cubs are losing another link to the era
of former general manager Dallas Green.
A Chicago native, Mr. Maloney joined the Cubs in 1981, after 17 years as a football
coach. He guided Mount Carmel, his high school alma mater, to the city championship
in 1967, then spent six years as an assistant coach at Michigan, where he was an All-Big
